200mm LS20B Propeller Type Current Meter For Velocity Measurement

Measuring principles:

This instrument is designed based on the theory of areas of open channel’s velocity.After measuring the velocity, the flow can be get:Q=V·S(S is sectional area)

• Velocity measurement

When measuring velocity, the spin paddle type rotor flow meter will be pushed by water ower. The built-in signal apparatus produces RPM signal. The formula below can calculate velocity:

B/K:the waterpower pitch of blades

a/C: velocity constant

T: lasting time(the unit is s)

N: the number of signals in T time

S: sectional area

Q: flow

K/b, C/a are constants

When measuring, you can setT and then measure N, so the velocity and flow can be automatically calculated.

Parameter setting

The method of modifying K value and measuring time T is the same as above. First, you should press the setting key to shift, and the press the setting number key to set number untill getting the correct number. You can repeat the above operation if you press the wrong key.

3.1.1 In display screen, the symbols between K and C show the signal period delay time:

"0" is the shortest fixed delay (20 B and 1206 B can only use this file)

"1" is 1 second delay;

"2" is 2 seconds delay;

"3" is 3 seconds delay;

"4" is 4 seconds delay;

Note: The tongue reed pipe signal of 20, 12, 10A type is not required to set delay.
